Research interests are in the area of mechanics of composites with specialization in micromechanical modelling of interfaces and interphases, prediction of the viscoelastic behavior of polymers and composites and residual properties prediction of damaged after impact, fatigue, and different aggressive environments, composites.
8. Founding member and board member of many Scientific Societies such as: Hellenic Society of Thermal Analysis (HSTA), Hellenic Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HSTAM), Hellenic Society for Composite Materials (HSCM), Hellenic Society of Biomaterials, etc.
