Biographic Notes
Emmanuel D. Adamides holds a BSc from the University of Sussex, an MSc(Research) from the University of Manchester and a DrEng from Democritus University of Thrace. Before joining the MEAD, he worked as manager and consultant to industrial and service
companies. He was also a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), as well as adjunct lecturer in the University of Thessaly. His research interests are in the areas of strategic operations management, socio-technical transitions to sustainability, systems theory and practice, and applied economics.
